WHY COUPLES CHOOSE WINDHAM

A wedding Weekend Getaway

Most venues hand you a room and a countdown. Someone starts stacking chairs at eleven and everyone drives back to a hotel.

Here you get the property. Three farmhouses, the barn, the meadows, the trails — from Friday afternoon until Sunday morning. Your people don't leave after the last song. They walk upstairs.

  • Everyone under one roof
Well.. three roofs. Eight beds in each house.

  • No shuttles, no hotel blocks
One location for the entire weekend.

  • No one is watching the clock
The property is booked for you, not for the next party.

Accomodations

The three farmhouses

Eight guests each, twenty-four in total. Gourmet kitchens, fireplaces, a game room, and floor-to-ceiling windows onto the meadow. Take one, two, or all three.

The barn

Your dinner room, your dance floor, and your rain plan — on the property, a short walk from every bed. No tent rental, no shuttle schedule, no second location.

A private chef

Welcome dinner, the wedding meal, Sunday breakfast — or all three. Menus are built with you rather than picked off a banquet sheet.

FAQs

How many guests can you actually hold?

1

Twenty-four sleep on the property. Eight in each of the three farmhouses. If your list runs larger, day guests can join for the ceremony and reception in the barn. Tell us your number and we'll tell you honestly whether it works.

Do we have to book all three farmhouses?

2

No. Most wedding weekends take all three for a full buyout and the privacy that comes with it, but one or two houses works for smaller groups.

Where does the ceremony happen?

3

The sky’s the limit. There’s so many beautiful spots on the property. We can work together to decide the best location for your ceremony.

Can we bring our own vendors?

4

Talk to us about your florist, photographer, and music — we'll walk through what's straightforward and what needs planning. We can also point you to people who already know the property.

What about food?

5

Our chef can cover the whole weekend — welcome dinner Friday, the wedding meal Saturday, breakfast Sunday — with a menu built around what you actually want to eat. Each farmhouse also has a full gourmet kitchen and outdoor grill if you'd rather cook.

How far is it from the city?

6

About two and a half hours from Manhattan, and minutes from Windham Mountain. Close enough that nobody has to fly; far enough that it feels like leaving.
